Tyco was an American toy manufacturer of model railroads, slot car sets, and remote controlled vehicles. Founded in 1926 as Mantua Metal Products in Woodbury Heights, New Jersey, rebranded as "Tyco Toys" in 1957. Tyco was acquired by Hasbro's chief rival, Mattel on March 27, 1997 and became a brand-name-only unit for remote controlled toy vehicles.
Tyco made Looney Tunes toys in 1994 of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, Taz, Marvin the Martian, Wile E. Coyote, Road Runner, Speedy Gonzales, Sylvester, Sylvester Junior, Tweety, Pepé Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat. Tyco also made Baby Looney Tunes toys as well in 1996.
