Tom Colonic is a minor character in the 2001 animated/live-action hybrid movie Osmosis Jones. He is the rival of Mayor Phlegmming for the mayoral election in the body of Frank DeTorre.
Tom Colonic is a tall, slender male cell with pale purple skin. He wears a white dress shirt with a red tie, navy blue pants, and black shoes.
Personality[]
Unlike Mayor Phlegmming, Tom Colonic is an honest, selfless who cares for the well-being of Frank DeTorre and his body where he promised all cells that he'll make changes to Frank's body which he proves when doing campaign ads during his election as mayor.
Role in the film[]
Tom Colonic is first seen on T.V. who had posted a campaign ad against Mayor Phlegmming for the re-election as mayor of the City of Frank which Phlegmming and his secretary, Leah Estrogen watch. After Colonic promises that he will make Frank DeTorre healthier, a young cell named Billy hears a fart and asks Colonic what's that smell. Colonic says that is the smell of change.
Colonic is later seen watching Phlegmming reading his report on T.V. as Colonic angrily glares at him along with his friends as they listen to the mayor's report. Colonic doesn't make another appearance, but he won the election after Osmosis Jones saved Frank since his rival lost.

Trivia[]
Tom Colonic is loosely based off of President J.F. Kennedy.
Despite having a small amount of screen time in the movie, it is assumed by fans that Colonic won the mayoral election due to Phlegmming no longer being the mayor by the end of the film.
