The Polar Express: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is a soundtrack album that is based off of the 2004 film, The Polar Express. It was released on November 2, eight days before the film, through Warner Sunset Records and features fourteen tracks.
The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America in November 2007. It is also the best selling film soundtrack/holiday album hybrid, having sold 724,000 copies in the United States alone, since Nielsen SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991.
