The Long Distance Dissonance is the twenty-fourth and final episode of the tenth season of The Big Bang Theory.
Synopsis[]
While Amy is at Princeton for her three-month fellowship, Sheldon's old fan, Ramona Nowitzki, returns, causing the others to become concerned.
Plot[]
Sheldon skypes with Amy; the two really miss each other, and Amy jokes around with Sheldon by ending a sentence with a proposition.
Later, at the Caltech cafeteria, Leonard explains that with Amy gone, he has to take Sheldon on certain errands, including going to Home Depot, just so Sheldon can look at ladders. Sheldon then shows up with Ramona Nowitzki, who is back at Caltech, working on her post doctorate degree, and even gives Sheldon a Toblerone chocolate bar. The two sit at another table, and much to the others' surprise, Ramona touches Sheldon's hand and he doesn't even swat her away.
At Apartment 4A, Penny and Bernadette are talking about what happened in the cafeteria, and decide not to worry Amy. Penny fears that living with Amy may have stirred up Sheldon's sexual appetite. Meanwhile, in Apartment 4B, Sheldon is skyping with Amy and tells her about having lunch with Ramona, saying that she is very similar to her, the only difference is that she is an Olympic swimmer. Amy then gives Penny and Bernadette an earful, comparing Sheldon to a ketchup bottle and fries, and urges them to do something about Ramona.
