The Liver is a location in the 2001 live-action/animation film Osmosis Jones. It is the liver of Frank DeTorre and inside his body, it is considered to be the poorest part of the City of Frank due to being inhabited by germs.

Trivia

• The setting of the liver is likely inspired by slums, which are poor parts of a city that have informal settlement with poor living conditions and inadequate housing. Slums are typically characterized by poorly built buildings, a degraded environment, lack of basic facilities like electricity, water, and schools, overcrowding, and dirt.
• The chicken pox germ fighting that Chill was betting on is similar to real life cockfighting which is an illegal blood sport in which two roosters specifically bred for aggression are placed beak to beak in a small ring and encouraged to fight to the death.
