The King of Flan is main antagonist of the episode of the same name, he is a single-appearance antagonist, and the last to show up in the cartoon's opening.

Appearance[]

A plump man with oblong head, wide smile and dark eyelids, the King of Flan seems to be always smiling widely. He can be seen as an obese, short man with bright-red hair, thin limbs and crooked teeth, wearing an olive shirt with checkered vest in purple and pink with a matching bowtie and bright-red pants with black shoes.

Personality[]

Evil by nature, he seems to speak in a calm, slow tune, especially when hypnotizing his victims. He never seems to lose his temper, or even his smile, anyway. He is only seen terrified when falling through the floors of his building with his giant billboard screen.

History[]

The King of Flan (episode)[]

The King of Flan is the proprietor of a company named Flan-tasy Flan Co. (headquartered in 1 Flan Drive, Flansville, Kansas according to the flan's packaging) that makes flan and uses hypnotism to attract customers, all of which become morbidly obese after eating too much flan. Muriel and Eustace were put under the King of Flan's hypnotic spell, and Courage was partially put under the spell as well, but he was not too obsessed with flan in order to be able to save his family, and the King of Flan was defeated by being hypnotized himself and, at the end of the episode, both he and Courage become obese from eating so much flan. The King of Flan did not make a second appearance, likely because he reformed from his villainous role and became a good guy in the end.
