Notes[]

  • The scene where the queen bee lays a bunch of eggs is similar to the scene of the hen chick laying a giant egg in "Swooner Crooner" and the scene of the tuna fish laying a bunch of eggs in "Fresh Fish".
  • This was the last Warner Bros. cartoon that Tex Avery finished before he left for Paramount to work on the Speaking of Animals shorts.[1]
  • The restored HBO Max print has digitally removed a quotation from the "That's All Folks!" ending card. This gaffe also occurs with "Hop, Skip and a Chump" and "The Shell Shocked Egg"'s ending cards on HBO Max.
