The Witches (1990)[]

Miss Irvine is first seen accompanying Eva Ernst (the Grand High Witch in disguise) as they and the other witches enter the Hotel Excelsior. After the Grand High Witch peforms her magic on a painting of a child, causing the child to disappear, Miss Irvine is about to presumably undo the effect when Miss Ernst calls her.

She is next seen during the witches' annual RSPCC meeting, where she assists her employer with removing her mask, while she takes off her wig, gloves, and shoes, then observes Bruno, and moments later, Luke, get turned into a mouse.

As the witches are about to go to their special banquet, the Grand High Witch prohibits Miss Irvine from participating because she is there to work, not enjoy herself, and harshly orders her to go to her room to prepare for a flight the next day. Fed up with her boss's mistreatment of her, Miss Irvine turns against her and quits being her secretary. In her room, she is helping herself to a small dinner of her own while stating that she didn't want to be one of the witches to begin with. When her former colleagues and boss are turned into mice after Luke put the Grand High Witch's own magic potion in their soup, she comes down to the restaurant and witnesses the chaos as they are all slaughtered, much to her shock and later satisfaction.

Before he and his grandmother Helga leave the hotel, Luke gives Miss Irvine their address in the United Kingdom. She decides to redeem herself by undoing what her deceased boss did to Luke and Bruno; that night, she comes to the Eveshim's residence and turns Luke back into a human, giving him his glasses and pet mice back as well, then leaves to return Bruno to normal as well, revealing that her wig has become real hair, and her hands are normal and no longer clawed.
