Shelley Kelly is the one of the main characters in Detention. She is an annoyingly peppy, optimistic girl who is a complete "teacher's pet" to Miss Kisskillya. As a result of her constantly kissing up to Kisskillya, the other kids don't like her very much, even though she really wants to be their friend. In particular, she considers herself Shareena Wickett's best friend and cherishes an unrequited crush on Emmitt Roswell.
