Shao Kahn, also referred to as The Konqueror, is one of the three main antagonists of the Mortal Kombat series, alongside Shang Tsung and Shinnok. He is one of the two archenemies of Raiden (along with Shinnok) as the two have fought for many millennia over the fate of Earthrealm.
As Liu Kang restarted history, he was reincarnated as General Shao leading Outworld's army for Empress Sindel. Behind the scenes, he secretly allied with Shang Tsung and Quan Chi in a coup to take Outworld's throne.
