Scooby-Doo! Ghostblasters: The Mystery of the Scary Swamp was a dark ride attraction located at Six Flag St. Louis, which is based on the Scooby-Doo franchise. The ride opened on May 18, 2002. Then it permanently closed on September 14, 2014 and got replaced by Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.

On January 23, 2002, Six Flags announced the addition of Scooby Doo! Ghostblasters, replacing the Castaway Kids Comic Book Adventure.
Experience[]
Guests board their ride vehicle which is a Mark Twain style river boat with green flashlights which are called "Fright Lights". Upon boarding the ride vehicle an announcer tells the guests all the safety about riding and then tells the guests to get their fright lights ready and that Scooby and the Mystery Incoporated gang have a mystery to solve in the Scary Swamp. Then Shaggy then tells the guests the following "Like don't chicken out now, get your fright lights ready! Scooby Doo and I are counting on ya!"
Guests enter the cave with signs saying "CAUTION GHOSTS and VILLIANS WRK AROUND EVERY TURN!", "Beware", DANGER" and "HAUNTED SWAMP" as well as glowing red eyes piercing through the boarded up areas while eerie music, voices and sound effects plays in the background.
When entering the cave, guests enter a swamp with ghoulish trees, ominous eyes, ghosts and animals including frogs, rattlesnakes and alligators. Shaggy and Scooby Doo can be seen peeking from behind some of the trees and also pop out from the tall grass while thunder can be seen and heard in the background. Guests then enter more of the swamp which has ghosts popping out of the tall grass along with a police station which has a silhouette of a screaming man inside as well as a police building with the Scare Pair peeking out of the top of it. Scooby Doo then appears from behind tall grass and says "Roh no, Villianville!" while a sign above can be seen reading "Welcome to Villianville". Guests then enter empty blackness and hear Scooby's hollering with Shaggy saying "Scooby Doo! Where are you?" followed by sinister laughing. Scooby then yells out Shaggy's name while a monsterous roar can be heard. Shaggy then says the following "Zoinks! Villians! We gotta get outta here Scoob!" as more sinister laughing can be heard.
Guests then enter a scene with a tiki hut and moving tiki masks with the Witch Doctor hiding behind green leaves as well as Mano Tiki Tia coming out of the ground with fire and lava surrounding him with a volcano in the background. A ferry boat with several crates can be seen with a skeleton inside of the window while a witch and a zombie come out from the boat and crates. Guests then see Redbeard on his pirate ship holding his sword and firing a cannon at them while a skeleton pirate sits on the ship holding on to the chain of an anchor as he shouts "Anchors away!" Meanwhile, Scooby Doo can be seen hiding inside of the pirate ship. Guests then see more ghoulish trees along with Fred, Velma and Daphne who pop out from behind a log as they say "Don't let them hear you!", "You're doing a great job!" and "Good work gang!" Then, Shaggy and Scooby Doo can be seen inside of a gypsy caravan as Scooby Doo yells for help along with the gypsy who pops up from behind a bush as she asks "Can I hear your fortune?" Guests then enter a seen with a smuggling ring and a rusty old cabin with the Wolfman peeking out from behind the roof. The lantern on the cabin then glows red as the Wolfman can be heard howling as he disappears into the cabin.
Guests then enter Funland where flowers squirt water at them along with a circus tent decorated with skulls while the Ghost Clown can be seen inside of it along with a ferris wheel and roller coaster in the background. Velma then pops out from inside a damaged animal car and says "Jinkies! The ape has escaped!" as a giant ape can be seen coming out of a crate that reads "Danger! Giant Ape!" Guests then enter a castle with ghosts coming out of shields along with moving suits of armor. Shaggy than can be seen hiding in one of the suits of armor as he says "Nobody hold those tin cans!"
Guests then enter the inside of the castle where a skeleton can be seen playing chess with Shaggy being chased by the Wolfman and Scooby Doo hiding underneath a table. A skeleton sitting in a chair holding a glass of milk and a plate of cookies can be seen in the library as Dracula and a Green Ghost appear from behind the curtains as well as Scooby Doo and Shaggy who drop down from the fireplace. Then, guests see a ghost chef holding a tray with a skull inside of it along with two skeletons as well as a ghost and Scooby Doo sitting at a table having a ghastly feast. Guests then enter a dungeon with skeletal hands coming out of a door and a falling cabinet. Meanwhile, Shaggy pops from behind one of the technological machines as he neverously chuckles and says "Zoinks! It's right behind ya!" while this happened, Frankenstein's monster can be seen from behind a door. Guests than see ghosts popping out of the windows as well as a skeleton playing an electric guitar and another skeleton trapped in a cage as he says "I can't stand hanging around here!" along with Scooby Doo who come out of a crate in the dungeon.
Guests then enter a cemetery with glowing eyes, scary trees, ghosts a vulture and even a mummy that lunges out of his tomb while emitting a horrifying shriek. Shaggy can also be seen hiding from behind a coffin in a tomb that had a pirate skull on it while bats come out of the tomb. Upon leaving the cemetery, guests have an encounter with the Mystery Machine heading towards them with loud beeping and glowing headlights.
Guests than enter a police department where Scooby Doo, Shaggy, Velma, Fred and Daphne are seen as well as a policeman who holds up a list of the villian's true identities along with a police van in the background. Shaggy then says "Like, way to go guys!" as Scooby Doo says "Scooby Dooby Doo!" and the Scooby Doo theme blasts in the background. Guests than see Frankenstein's Monster, Charlie the Funland Robot, The Zombie, The Gypsy, The Wolfman, The Green Ghost and The Witch Doctor inside many prison cells as well as the Ghost Clown who pops up from behind a wooden stump holding a TNT box. He then pushes the lever down on the TNT box and laughs sinisterly before the ride ends with a massive explosion. Upon leaving the massive explosion, the announcer can be heard saying "Hey gang, the mystery's been solved! It's time to put your fright lights back." Guests then exit their ride vehicles as they reach the exit doors of the ride.
