The Russian Dog is a character who appeared in the Bugs Bunny cartoon "Hare Ribbin'" as the main antagonist.

Hare Ribbin'

He first appears in the cartoon looking for a rabbit and stumbles upon Bugs which leads to him chasing the rabbit underwater with a series of gags including him playing tag with Bugs, disguised as a mermaid. The dog later demands for a rabbit sandwich with Bugs inside of it, he takes a bite of it and thinks that he killed Bugs with him later crying and wishing that he was dead, Bugs gives him a pistol and commits suicide by shooting himself in the head. In the director's cut, Bugs kills him by shooting him with a pistol. As the cartoon is about to end with the iris out, he comes out of the iris and says, "This shouldn't happen to a dog!" and ends with the iris hitting his nose.
