Rosebud is a little field mouse with big ears. He was identified as such in the series of Shaw ceramics made in the 1940s. He appears to have based on a mouse who only appeared in two cartoons, both directed by Bob Clampett: "Farm Frolics" and "Horton Hatches the Egg".
