Old-school mob boss Lenny Cole (Tom Wilkinson) controls the city's real estate market through corruption and intimidation. When Russian billionaire Uri Omovich (Karel Roden) seeks to close a lucrative land deal, he enlists Lenny's help, offering a valuable painting as a token of trust.
However, things spiral out of control when Uri's accountant, Stella (Thandie Newton), secretly hires a small-time gang known as "The Wild Bunch"—led by One-Two (Gerard Butler), Mumbles (Idris Elba), and Handsome Bob (Tom Hardy)—to steal the money intended for the deal. Complicating matters further, Lenny's estranged, drug-addicted stepson, Johnny Quid (Toby Kebbell), fakes his own death and steals the painting, setting off a chaotic chain of events involving various criminal factions vying for power and profit.
