Princess Melisande is a supporting character in The Flight of Dragons. She is a princess who is Carolinus adopted daughter. She is voiced by Alexandra Stoddart.

Appearance[]
Melisande has blonde hair, pale skin and long blonde hair. She wears a long-sleeve orange dress in the Magic Realm while in Peter time she wears white tights, a dark blue blazer, a white shirt, a red vest and a pair of blue shoes.
Personality[]
She is kind and sweet.
Biography[]
Her parents died when she was young and at 5 years old she was adopted by Carolinus. She soon met Sir Orrin who gave her baby Gorbash. She was happy and gave him a kiss on the cheek as a thanks. It’s unknown what happened to her kingdom.
Role in the film[]
She first appeared urging her father to rest and while being worried about a him. Under his commands she wrote the letters to his brothers and called the Silver Owls of the Full Moon to deliver the messages and alerted them of their arrival.
Melisande enquired Carolinus about his brothers and she learned about them. She hugged her father goodbye as Carolinus left for his meeting with his brothers.
Under Carolinus she summoned Sir Orrin Neville-Smythe to do the quest of getting Ommadon crown.
When Carolinus arrived with Peter Dickinson she came to greet him where Peter became fell in love at first sight with her. Melisande and Peter get to know each other while she introduce him to Gorbash and told Gorbash that if his hoard grows bigger than they would be no room for furniture in the house. She was concerned for Smrgol.
While she and Peter had dinner she told him about why Dragons need a hoard. When she tried to do toast with Peter and Carolinus she shows concerned her father condition and she managed to convinced her father to change the wine into milk with his magic. Melisande and Peter soon become closer as they spend time with each other at Carolinus house.
At night Melisande begged her father for help when Bryagh captured Peter and showed concern for Carolinus, Peter and Gorbash for the whole thing.
Melisande became shocked when she find out Peter is in Gorbash. Melisande watch her father writing a letter to Solarius the Blue Wizard and Lo Tae Shao the Yellow Wizard about the situation.
When Carolinus was unable to do the tracking of the quest of getting Ommadon Crown through his magic crystal ball because of Ommadon but then Lo Tae Shao, who appeared in the crystal ball with his own magic, then told him that Melisande can do the viewing of the party with her own power. Both Carolinus and Melisande managed to do it.
In Carolinus's home Princess Melisande soon fell into a sleep while still describing the quest and group. Carolinus was sad that Melisande fell into her sleep and showed concerned for her.
After the quest Melisande awaken from her sleep and Carolinus was happy that she awaken. She carried Omnadon crown with her.
She was awakened by a kiss from Peter who left Ommadon's own crown with. Melisande begged Carolinus twice to let her to join Peter because she fell in love with him. Both Carolinus and Melisande hugged while she cried and Carolinus told her it is must be her decision, and that if she did she will never come back to the Magic Realm so that means she will never see her father, Sir Orrin and Gorbash again.
At 20th century Boston, Peter was in h the middle of selling the magic shield to the pawnbroker while then looking at Melisande game piece at his game when Melisande entered the shop with the crown that she gave to the pawnbroker so it can be sold. Peter saw it and Peter became happy that Melisande is at Peter home realm. Both Peter and Melisande embrace and then kissed each other.
