Porky's Romance is a 1937 Looney Tunes short directed by Frank Tash.
Plot[]
Porky asks Petunia to marry him. Petunia says no, so Porky decides to hang himself. The beam holding the rope collapses as Porky jumps, and instead of killing himself, he is knocked unconscious and has a dream about what life would be like if he and Petunia got married. It starts out fine, but soon turns into a nightmare. Porky is forced to do the housework and care for their many children while Petunia sits around, doing nothing but eating chocolate, gaining weight, spoiling her pet dog, yelling at Porky for not keeping up with the housework, and clobbering him with a rolling pin if he talks back. Porky wakes up to Petunia, who says she will marry him. After envisioning his awful wedded life with Petunia, Porky runs away, but not before giving Petunia's snooty dog a well-deserved kick in the butt.
