Clara adopted Pavlova prior to the events of the movie. He is very attached to her, but feels sad when she leaves the house. He loves to chase mice, but the only mouse that he is afraid of is the Mouse King.

Pavlova is a cute grey and white Tuxedo Cat.
Role in the film[]
Pavlova is first seen in the window of Clara's room when she and Fritz are racing each other home for their family's Christmas party. Clara wins the race. Pavlova then chases his ball of yarn down the stairs. He meows when Clara goes into the living room without him. Pavlova isn't seen again for the remainder of the movie after Clara goes to The Land of The Dolls.
