Muggsy Bogues (Born January 9, 1965) is an American retired basketball player. He was the shortest player of The National Basketball Association, he played point guard for four teams during his 14-season in the NBA. He is best known for his ten seasons with the Charlotte Hornets and also played for the Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Toronto Raptors.

After his NBA career, he served as head coach of the now-defunct WNBA team Charlotte Sting. In 2014 he was named the Charlotte Hornet's Ambassador, participating in the team's re-branding.He portrayed himself in the 1996 film Space Jam.
