Mrs. Racer or simply as Mom Racer (Japanese: 三船 アヤ Mifune Aya) is Speed's mother and a supporting character of the live-action film based on the manga. While Trixie depicts an independent, all-things-equal kind of woman (a harbinger of the Equal Rights Amendment), Mom Racer is her mirror opposite. She is the beautiful cookie-baking, June Cleaver goddess of the Racer homestead. Always there for her family, she is the true backbone of the Mach 5 Go Team. She is In the live action film, however, she is portrayed as an encouraging parental figure, portrayed by Susan Sarandon.
