Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms is a 2021 American direct-to-video animated martial arts film and the second installment in the Mortal Kombat Legends series. Directed by Ethan Spaulding and written by Jeremy Adams, the film is the sequel to Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion's Revenge.
Plot[]
Following the events of the previous tournament, Earthrealm faces a new threat as the warlord Shao Kahn declares war, prompting a final Mortal Kombat tournament to determine the fate of all realms. Raiden agrees to participate, relinquishing his immortality to compete alongside Earthrealm's champions: Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, Jax Briggs, and others.
Simultaneously, Scorpion is pursued by the cybernetic ninjas Cyrax and Sektor, who seek the Kamidogu—a powerful artifact fused to Scorpion's soul. Their goal is to use it to resurrect the One Being, a primordial force that could annihilate all of existence. Scorpion allies with Sub-Zero to prevent this catastrophe.

It received mixed reviews from critics, with praised its animation and action sequences but criticized its pacing and narrative complexity. the third film in the series. Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind. was released on October 11, 2022.
