The junkyard, excellent! Food for the metal eater.
―Kent Mansley realises where the Giant is hiding.
There are two kinds of metal in this yard: scrap and art. If you gotta eat one of them, eat the scrap. And what you currently have - IN YOUR MOUTH! - is ART!
Dean McCoppin to the Iron Giant

McCoppin Scrapyard is the home and business place of resident Dean McCoppin. Located on the outskirts of Rockwell, the location is relatively secluded from the public eye. Shortly after Dean meets Hogarth, the yard also becomes the home of the Iron Giant as well as it's hideout.

Layout[]

McCoppin Scrapyard features a large lit sign advertising itself as a place of both art and scrap. Within its fenced off land, the site predominantly features a large flat landscape riddled with large amounts of scrap metal, ranging from vehicles and furniture to building supplies and surplus materials.
