Matthew Langford Perry (August 19, 1969 — October 28, 2023) is an American and Canadian actor. He has been known for his character Chandler Bing in the long-running comedy show Friends on NBC from 1994-2004. He was the younger half-brother of the Beverly Hills 90210 star Luke Perry, who died in 2019 at the age of 53. Matthew Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on October 28, 2023, aged 54.

Perry was single and he potentially had two children. However, in November 2020, he was engaged with literary manager Molly Hurwitz. Their engagement ended in 2021.
Death[]
On October 28, 2023, Perry was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home in Los Angeles by a house maid and was pronounced dead at 4:17pm that day, at the age of 54.
On December 15, 2023, Perry's death was revealed to have occurred due to "acute effects of ketamine".
