Lovelace (formerly known as Guru) is the tritagonist of Happy Feet, the tetartagonist of Happy Feet Two and a supporting character in the upcoming sequel. He is a rockhopper penguin who has a high social status due to the amount of Lovestones in his pile. He is assumed to be the narrator of Happy Feet and the beginning of Happy Feet Two. He is Mumble's best friend.
