LT Collector's Choice

The Looney Tunes Collector's Choice is a series of Blu-ray sets succeeding the Looney Tunes Platinum Collection DVD/Blu-ray sets. Each volume consists of 20 new-to-disc Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies shorts on a single disc. This is the first Looney Tunes home video series to be released on the Warner Archive, and not through Warner Home Video, due to it being aimed at collectors rather than general audiences, as home video sales have declined due to the rise of streaming services. The Blu-ray sets are region-free, hence they can be played on any Blu-ray player.[1]

Like the Looney Tunes Golden Collection, all of the shorts featured on this set are newly restored to disc. Two of the shorts featured on these sets are presented remastered and restored from the original negatives for the first time, and 18 of the shorts have already been released on streaming and television. Unlike the restorations for television, these new prints will not have the Photoshop freeze-frame edits on the opening titles, instead restoring the titles in the traditional sense, similar to the Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary Collection Blu-ray set.

The first volume features 20 cartoons on a single disc and was released in the United States on May 30, 2023.[2][3][4]

Volume 1[]

Volume 1 was released to United States markets on May 30, 2023, and consists of 20 shorts.[3] The following shorts known to be on this set, all newly remastered from the original negatives.[2][4] As Warner Bros. does not restore non-35mm prints, the Blue Ribbon titles were restored instead for a handful of shorts.
