Judy Garland (Born June 10, 1922-June 22, 1969) was an American singer, actress, and vaudvillian. She is best known as Dorothy Gale in the 1939 film in The Wizard of Oz. She portrayed Esther Blodgett in 1954 film A Star is Born and her only voice over role was Mewsette in the 1962 animated musical film Gay Purr-eee

She died at age 47 from an overdose of sleeping pills on June 22, 1969.
