The Gumball Guardians (also known as Guardians of the Royal Promise and the Prize Ball Guardians in the Future) are characters from the Warner Bros and Cartoon Network animated show, Adventure Time. They are the protectors of the Candy Kingdom alongside the Banana Guards, and also can be seen blowing bubbles on the walls of the Candy Kingdom.
As of Lemonhope Part 2, Graybles 1000+ and Come along with Me, The Gumball Guardians had been upgraded to the Prize Ball Guardians model with its goal keeping the Candy People in statis.
The guardians are robots that resemble gumball machines, due to their spherical glass heads and the colorful gumballs inside them. They have pink bodies and wear an ice cream cone hat. They are tall enough to easily step over the walls of the Candy Kingdom.
Personality[]
The Guardians are mostly neutral, They will be only hostile when a group or person attack the Candy Kingdom or Princess Bubblegum which they will start activating their lasers that can be fired from both their eyes and their mouth, which can caused a big explosion as shown in Little Dude.
Trivia[]
The main weakness of the Gumball Guardians are their heads that can be broken.
They are very similar to Benson from Regular Show because of their similar appearance and both being a Gumball machine.
