George "Geo" Francis Manuell (August 7, 1909 - October 19, 1958)[1][2] was an American writer. He worked for Ub Iwerks' studio as a writer and later for Leon Schlesinger Productions writing cartoons for Frank Tashlin, Friz Freleng and Tex Avery. He later moved to Max Fleischer's studio in Miami to work as a writer on the Popeye cartoons.[3]
