Pokémon[]

  • In the episode "It's Mr. Mime Time", when the two Mr. Mime are making a tower of mirrors to catch Team Rocket and their tank, Team Rocket says, "That's wall folks." This could be a reference to the catchphrase "That's all folks" from the Looney Tunes cartoons.
  • In the episode "A Real Cleffa Hanger", when Max, Misty, Azuril, Cleffa, and Pikachu gets chased by Beedrill, falls from cliff from Looney Tunes.

Sailor Moon[]

  • In the episode "The Stag Convergence", the characters Howard and Raj mention having an affair with a woman dressed as Sailor Moon.
  • In the episode "The Lie", the sequence where Richard Watterson creates the Sluzzlewurst is very similar to Sailor Moon's first transformation due to the music, background, some of Richard's movements, and how Richard's body outlines can be seen despite him wearing clothes before and after the sequence. A similar sequence occurs in "The Romance", this time showing Penny Fitzgerald attempting to shapeshift. The sequence in this episode is shorter and the only similarities to the transformation are the music, the background, and having the character in the sequence attempt to transform in some way.
  • The Ultra Chicks in the series are parodies of the Sailor Senshi.
  • In Rigby's story in the episode "Terror Tales of the Park IV", the Japanese horror film has a number of schoolgirls wearing uniforms which are very similar to those of Juuban High School given their white tops with red neckerchiefs, blue skirts, and white socks.
  • In the episode, Mirage/Hansel Und Gretel, there is a sketch in which a magical girl, played by Candy, transforms into Super Ranger Scout Rider (an amalgamation of Super Sentai, its American counterpart Power Rangers, the DiC Dub name of the Sailor Senshi, and Kamen Rider) to fight a monster that is attacking a city, which bores the civilians, played by Moon and Dog, and the monster because of how long the transformation sequence is, like Sailor Moon's and the Glamour Cadet's transformation sequences. The sequence in this sketch consists of ribbons, wings, a pose similar to Eternal Sailor Moon's pose, and a robot transformation. There is also a reference to Sailor Moon's speech after she finished transforming.
  • In episode 14 of the series, "Joint Point", there are three skits parodying Sailor Moon. Another episode, "Moesha Poppins", also features a parody of Sailor Moon. On season 9, episode 13, there's a skit parodying Sailor Moon where the Inner Senshi fight a churro monster with a new ally, Sailor Earth.
  • In the episode "House Guest", a book with Usagi on the cover can be seen on a shelf. Also, in an official Newsarama interview, Steven says that he likes the Sailor Moon manga and calls it down to earth.
  • In the episode "The League of Legs", the Teen Titans change into their new outfits for their league by way of a transformation sequence mimicking some of the Sailor Senshi's transformation sequences in the anime.

MeatCanyon[]

  • Wabbit Season is a short parody Youtube video made by MeatCanyon on February 2, 2020. The video features Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny. Elmer Fudd is on the search again hunting for rabbits, but this time Bugs Bunny has caught him with his back turned. Elmer must plead for Bugs to let him go... and hope that Bugs doesn't let his urges take over.
  • Some time later Warner Bros. Entertainment filed a copyright claim against the video, resulting in Youtube removing the video. This sparked outrage among fans who argue that because the video is a parody it should be protected under fair use. In response, MeatCanyon made a response/eulogy video called RIP Wabbit Season on March 22, 2020.
  • The video includes many of MeatCanyon's parodied characters, with Eddy from Ed, Edd n Eddy providing most of the dialogue. The video predominantly shows the characters mourning the loss of Bugs while also criticizing Warner Bros. (and subtly Youtube) for being the cause of his 'death'. One of the biggest takeaways from the video is when Eddy stated that because Wabbit Season was legally claimed Warner Bros. Entertainment, by that logic it is now officially canon that Bugs was a "struggling rapist" this whole time.

The Angry Video Game Nerd[]

  • Bugs Bunny is often portrayed as a villain to the Angry Video Game Nerd in the series.

CollegeHumor*[]

  • In the video "Angry Birds PSA" (a parody of Angry Birds), Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Petunia Pig, and The Road Runner appear. The Road Runner also was able to talk in the video.
  • In another video, there is a parody of a scene from Space Jam.

BrainPOP[]

  • In the Classification movie, the opening & closing credits of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner are referenced.

Dragon Ball Z Kai Abridged[]

  • In Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Kai Abridged Episode 3.5, Android 18, 16, and Cell mention they like Road Runner, Pepe Le Pew, and Sam Sheepdog

Homestar Runner[]

  • The Poopsmith, like Wile E. Coyote, sometimes talks by holding up signs.
  • Email island (Easter Egg) — Homestar Runner and Strong Bad imagine each other as various foods as the two castaways from Wackiki Wabbit did.
    • Email funny — Some of Strong Bad's wacky movements and sounds also come from Wackiki Wabbit.
  • Email lackey — Strong Bad quotes Bugs Bunny when he calls The Cheat "so trusting, so naive".
  • Email rock opera — Strong Bad applauds his creation with Speedy Gonzales' catchphrase, "¡Ándale! ¡Ándale! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba!"
  • Email bottom 10 — When displaying #6 on Strong Bad's bottom 10, which is "The foul stench of wet The Cheat", The Cheat is seen sopping wet next to a glass of water and a tall ladder, which is likely a reference to several Looney Tunes cartoons which featured someone doing a high dive into a glass of water, instead of a tank of water, such as Stage Door Cartoon.
  • Halloween Potion-ma-jig — Strong Mad dresses as Gossamer.
  • Email theme song — The announcer quotes the theme song to the TV show Tiny Toon Adventures when he says, "They're tiny, they're toony, they're all a little loony. It's the Cheat Commandos."
    • In the DVD commentary, Matt makes reference to The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour, one of the many titles for the Saturday morning compilations of Looney Tunes cartoons on television.
  • Email pizza joint — The Cheat having a restaurant in The King of Town's Grill is similar to Rabbit Every Monday, where Bugs Bunny convinces Yosemite Sam that there is a party going on in a wood burning oven.
  • Weclome Back (DVD Commentary) — Matt mentions "the sheep and the wolf from those Looney Tunes cartoons". He was most likely referring to Sam Sheepdog and Ralph Wolf.
  • Sickly Sam's Big Outing — Old Timey Marzipan quotes Hare Tonic as she invites Sickly Sam to "cut [himself] a slice of rug".
  • Play Date — Homestar shouting of "peppering" refers to Bugs Bunny's line, "That's the old pepper, boy!" heard in Baseball Bugs.
  • Baddest of the Bands — Any time that the Limozeen Coloring Book is used on Strong Bad, he says the phrase, "...and name him George." This refers to The Abominable Snow Rabbit, a cartoon with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and the Abominable Snowman, who is always wishing for a pet bunny rabbit to name George.
  • Email mini-golf (DVD commentary) — Matt compares "Sweet Cuppin' Cakes" to Wackyland where Gogo the Dodo lives. Gogo is a character on Tiny Toon Adventuresand is related to the Dodo from Looney Tunes cartoons like Porky In Wackyland, which is also where Wackyland originated.
  • @StrongBadActual — Strong Bad compares Coach Z fanart to the "instant Martians" from the episode Hare-Way to the Stars.
  • Haunted Photo Booth — The Poopsmith dresses up as an instant Martian.

Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy*[]

  • In the episode "Die Sweet Roadrunner Die", Wile E. Coyote (voiced by Seth MacFarlane) finally kills and eats Road Runner, but realizes that he does not know what else to do in his life now. He tries working as a waiter, but gets fired after having a mental breakdown. He is about to kill himself, but then something hits his mind and he decides to become a Christian, much to the dismay of his coyote friend.

Konnich Shorties[]

WWE Slam City[]

  • In the episode "Between the Rock and Pizza, Part 2", the animatronic penguin is doing a "popping-cork" tongue noise, just like the Road Runner.
  • In the episode "Best Dessert in the World", CM Punk chews an ice cream cone then says, "Ehhh... what's up Mark?", which is a catchphrase of Bugs Bunny. He also made the Road Runner sound.
