• Madeline Kahn recycled the dialect she used for Lili von Schtupp as the voice of Gussie.

• The sparkles before The Fairy Godmother appears is like Glinda's bubble.
• Lucifer is holding Gus' tail while trying to run away from him until Jaq rescues him.
• When Lucifer is stucked in a dress, Gus grabs the last bead with Jaq. Lucifer attempts to eat Gus, but Jaq saves him. It's referenced with Sylvester trying to eat Tweety.

Aladdin (1992)

• References a gag found in this Bugs Bunny cartoon where a Genie is summoned out of his lamp while trying to bathe.
• Billy asks The Wishing Skull if he's like that genie who does impressions that only his dad gets, referring to the Genie from this film.
• In the Harry Potter skit, there is a magic lamp that resembles the lamp in this film.
• DVD is shown in a video store.
• Cheney refers to Ho Yinsen as Jafar.
• When discussing how to save prince Erik, Alex suggests to approach princess Kristina, saying "you want to get pass Jafar, you go straight to princess Jasmine" - referring to "Aladdin".

The Secret of NIMH

• Jerry Goldsmith wrote the score for both films, and similarities to "Poltergeist" can be heard in the score for "The Secret of NIMH.". Also, the staging of the climatic sword fight was taken largely from this movie.
• Sheldon mentions Wil Wheaton appearing in the movie.
• The Title is a reference in "Robot Chicken" episode "Victoria's Secret of NIMH".

Minions: The Rise of Gru

• In one of the end credits vignettes, Gru goes trick-or-treating as Willy Wonka, and the Minions as Oompah-Loompahs.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit

• Daffy appeared in later cartoons. He was one of many Looney Tunes characters licensed by Warner Bros. to appear in the 1988 Disney/Amblin film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. In the film, Daffy (utilizing his original, wacky characterization) shares a scene with his Disney counterpart and rival Donald Duck whilst engaged in a piano duel.
• Bugs appeared as one of the inhabitants of Toontown. However, since the film was being produced by Disney, Warner Bros. would only allow the use of their biggest star if he got an equal amount of screen time as Disney's biggest star, Mickey Mouse. Because of this, both characters are always together in frame when onscreen. Roger Rabbit was also one of the final productions in which Mel Blanc voiced Bugs (as well as the other Looney Tunes characters) before his death in 1989.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit marks the only time in animation history that a Disney character and a Warner Bros. character have appeared on screen together.

All Dogs Go to Heaven

• Stanley gets chased by a dog who bears a heavy resemblance to Charlie.

Rock-a-Doodle

• In the 1991 Don Bluth's animated film Rock-a-Doodle, Stanley from the 1994 Don Bluth's sucessor animated film A Troll in Central Park makes a cameo appearance as one of Hunch's transformations by the spell of the Grand Duke of Owls. During the film, Hunch returns to his uncle's lair and reports to him that Edmond, Patou, Peepers, and Snipes were finally done away with, exciting the Duke into asking him how he did it. Hunch simply states that it was all done "adequately", which confuses his uncle at first, and he further specifies that he had let the animals get sucked the drainage pipe and mentions the "adequate pipe" sign above it. The Duke angrily yells at Hunch, correcting him that it was an aqueduct pipe that led to the city and that the animals were still alive. He then orders Hunch to fly alone to the city to dispose of Edmond and his friends once and for all (as his last chance upon threatening to dispose of him) and provides for him a pair of sunglasses to protect his eyes from the city's bright lights when the latter feared going blind.

• William Ross who scored the film reused a piece he previously used for Thumbelina. It can be heard better during the fire in the clubhouse scene.

• Scooby-Doo is mentioned in dialogue three times.

Little Man

• "Little Man" is an almost shot-by-shot, gag-by-gag reference of "Baby Buggy Bunny."
  • "Little Man" imitating Babyface Finster in the bathroom.

Lady and the Tramp

Sleeping Beauty

• Prince Cornelius is attracted to Thumbelina's beautiful slinging voice, similar to how Prince Phillip is attracted to Aurora's beautiful singing voice in Sleeping Beauty. Just like in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Sleeping Beauty, Cornelius and Thumbelina's first encounter is very similar in the sense that the female lead gets frightened at first once approached by the prince, only to be completely swooned off her feet by the prince. In addition, the way Cornelius breaks in into Thumbelina's home is similar to that of Peter Pan's.
