Dirk ‘the Jerk’ Bennington is the football team captain of Franklin D. Znorgzevelt Middle School. He was supposed to have Cindy Pride be his science fair partner but due to Quincy Simpleton’s scrambler interfering with Mr. Desk, Bernice Blunt was picked as his partner instead. They worked on the Physics of Football Flight and got second place.
