"Dexter's Laboratory" (originally called as "Changes") is the full episode Dexter's Laboratory. It first aired on February 26, 1995, and it re-aired as part of episode 4 of season one on May 18, 1996 on TNT as a special preview and on May 19 on TBS and on Cartoon Network and March 2 2024. In this episode, Dexter makes a remote that turns people into animals, only for Dee Dee to get ahold of it.

Summary[]
The episode begins outside with a newspaper delivery guy riding on a bicycle. He passed by Dexter's House and throws a newspaper on the doorstep. Mom comes out and picks it up and she goes inside and stops by the stairs and asks Dee Dee to go check if Dexter is ready for school. Dee Dee comes out of her room and asks what she said and Mom repeats for her to go and check if Dexter's ready for school. Dee Dee makes an excited face and she comes out of her room dancing across the hallway toward Dexter's room. She stops by his room and quietly knocks on the door and calls his name very quietly. There is no answer so she tries opening the door but it is locked. So she uses a credit card to break the lock open. The door opens up and Dee Dee looks into his room. Dexter is not in there and so she goes into his Laboratory to find him.
Dee Dee finds Dexter working in his laboratory on an Animal Atomizer. Dexter finishes his invention and replies "At last! My greatest invention is now completed!" and puts it safely on a cushion and puts in in a glass casing. Dee Dee comes up to him and yells "Hi Dexter!" Dexter falls back and yells back at her "Dee Dee! Get out of my laboratory!" Dee Dee ignores him and proceeds to mess around and destroy stuff in his lab and discovers that Dexter is experimenting on her doll. Dee Dee gets mad at Dexter and starts backing him up against the pillar holding his invention. Dexter hits the pillar and the invention land in Dee Dee's hands. Dee Dee then quotes "Oooh! What does this button do?" and Dexter replies "Dee Dee no! Don't push that button!"
Then Dee Dee presses the button and the machine zaps Dexter into a bunny. Dee Dee starts hugging a bunny and then breaks free. He asks her what she would like to be more than anything in the world. Dee Dee states that she would like to be a princess. A bunny uses the machine to turn Dee Dee into a frog and puts it back up on the cushion and takes it off of there again. They explains to her that the machine how it works. He uses the grid while learn facts about education. He keeps changing him into animals with new voices such as a pig, an ox, a saiga antelope, a zebra, a river otter, a goose, a wildebeest, an orangutan, an ostrich, a giant panda, and a hyrax. Both animals are still not listening to him and turning him into animals. Then he takes the animal atomizer and starts fighting and talking. He turns an animal into a tiger. The tiger roars and starts chasing after us. As a tiger chases a hyrax, He turns into more animals such as a deer, cow, a giraffe, a walrus, a kangaroo, a llama, and a penguin. They leaves him laboratory and goes into the hallway and goes down the stairs. A tiger chases after him and slips on a roller skate and lands on the floor into an african elephant. He jumps on the animal atomizer and turns him into a dromedary.
He zaps her again turning themselves into a vulture, a green tree python, and a sperm whale. Mom is reading the newspaper while all of this is occurring behind her. Oblivious to the chaos that's happening, she tells them to brush their teeth before they come downstairs for breakfast. Both are turning into a beaver and a tyrannosaurus rex. Mom tells them to brush their teeth and do some less. They start struggles to reach his mouth while a dinosaur just brushes her big beaver teeth. Then, they both come down while both turning into a grizzly bear and a rooster to eat their breakfast. Mom tells them to eat their breakfast and some more. A bear eats the entire table while a rooster pecks at his cereal still remaining subliminal to Mom. Mom tells them to go upstairs and get ready for school. They both see the animal atomizer and rush after it breaking the table in half as they run. Then he turns into a duck and he turns into a billy goat. Both are pressing the button at the animal atomizer and turns themselves into various animals such as an impala, and an armadillo.
He presses the animal atomizer and turns him into a rhinoceros. She is the body of a rhinoceros and starts casing after him as he rams with its horn. The rhinoceros stomped his feet as he presses the button. He is turning into a panther chameleon and she is turning into an octopus. Then they both turn themselves into more animals such as a great white shark, a jellyfish, a swordfish, and a narwhal. Both are turning into a yeti and a unicorn. He presses the animal atomizer and she is turning into a jaguar. She presses the animal atomizer and both are turning into other animals such as a quail, an alligator, a lion, and a spider monkey. Both are a bluebird and a nyala to dodged their couch. Both are a pangolin and an okapi struggled to Mom & Dad's room. An okapi is drawing Dexter's family as a pangolin is drawing a pangolin diorama. Mom tells them that they'd better stop playing around before come downstairs and get ready for school.
The okapi reared and the pangolin screams and gets out of Mom and Dad's room. Both are a wapiti and a rooster again struggled to the living room. Mom calls Dad the phone in the living room. As Mom sits down and presses the TV remote and changes the movie into a nature documentary. The leopard seal growls and both are screaming and running around the living room. Mom screams and attacks them and starts chasing them. Then she turns into a billy goat again and rams again into a hippopotamus flying into the air and he lands on the floor of the hallway. A hippo runs into his room as a goat chases after him. Both animals are going upstairs to Dexter's room Chaos while turning each other into various animals, including a sumatran rhino, an okapi again, a bald eagle, a black panther, a lobster, an octopus again, and a tarsier. Mom starts wondering what their doing up there and she comes upstairs. At this time, Both animals are a leopard tortoise and a snail is now in the animal atomizer is in between them. They both start quickly going for it as Mom starts coming upstairs. Both manage to hit the button at the same time before Mom comes in.
Mom tells them that they'd better stop playing around and come downstairs before they miss their bus. After she leaves, It is revealed that Dee Dee was in Dexter's body and Dexter was in Dee Dee's body. Dee Dee was in Dexter's body quotes "Last one down is an icky slimy spider." and he runs downstairs dancing. Dexter, who is in Dee Dee's body replies "Why not? I've been everything else today." and the episode ends.
