Cyrus Willard Kendall was an American film actor well known for his roles in more than 140 films created from 1935 to 1950. His heavy-set, square-jawed appearance and deep voice were famous for wiseguy roles such as policemen and police chiefs, wardens, military officers, bartenders, reporters, and mobsters.
