Colonel Rimfire is a Looney Tunes character created by Alex Lovy and voiced by Larry Storch. He is the antagonist of Cool Cat in several Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons produced by Alex Lovy in the late 1960s.
He reappeared many years later in the TV series The Sylvester & Tweety Mysteries. His first appearance is in "Curse of De Nile" in which he has been lost in an Egyptian tomb and eventually found by Granny, Sylvester, Tweety, and Hector the Bulldog. He reappears in "Fleas Release Me" at a flea market with his wife getting tricked by Cool Cat and again in "A Game of Cat and Monster!" where it is revealed that he was kidnapped by Dr. Moron and transformed into Gossamer, who was chasing Sylvester throughout the episode.
He also appeared in the film Tweety's High-Flying Adventure, kickstarting the plot by challenging Granny to send Tweety across the world to collect stamps from every cat.
