Charles Barkley (Born February 20, 1963) is an American retired professional basketball player and current analyst. In 1984, he was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers. In 1992, he was traded to the Phoenx Suns. In 1996, he was traded to the Housten Rockets. He was the member of The Dream Team. He played the power forward position, but occasionally played small forward and center. He portrayed himself in the 1996 film Space Jam. After his NBA career he had a successful career as a television NBA analyst and he is a spokesman for CDW. He was nicknamed Chuck, Sir Charles, and The Round Mound of Rebound.
He is married to Maureen Blumhardt and has a daughter named Christiana.
