Casper Caveman is a character featured in the 1939 Merrie Melodies short "Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur". As a caveman who tried to kill Daffy Duck for dinner, Casper was accompanied by his pet dinosaur Fido in the short.

Casper is grouchy, mean, violent, irritable, and short-tempered due to his hunger, Fido's incompetence, and Daffy's manic craziness.

Appearance

Casper only appeared in "Daffy Duck and the Dinosaur", where he tried to eat Daffy because he was out looking for food. At the end, however, he wound up dead in Heaven (because of an explosion).

Voice

Casper was voiced by Jack Lescoulie, who was a longtime Jack Benny impersonator.
