Ivan Simon Cary Elwes (/ˈɛlwɪs/; born 26 October 1962) is an English actor and writer. He is best known for his roles in films such as The Princess Bride, Glory, Kiss the Girls, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, Days of Thunder, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Hot Shots!, Twister, The Jungle Book, Georgia Rule, Liar, Liar, and Saw. He has also had recurring roles in series such as The X-Files and Psych, and currently stars in the Crackle series The Art of More.
His works in Warner Bros. media include: Garrett from Quest for Camelot, Paxton Powers from Batman Beyond, and Henry Detmer from Wonder Woman.
