Bugs Bunny Builders is a preschool television program created for Cartoon Network and HBO Max. The series premiered on 25 July 2022 on Cartoonito and was released a day later on HBO Max.[1][2][3][4][5]
As with every show on the Cartoonito block, this series is aimed towards preschoolers, making it the second Looney Tunes show with this distinction after Baby Looney Tunes.
The first episode was uploaded on YouTube on 22 July 2022. The series began airing on Boomerang on 21 January 2023 as part of a Lunar New Year marathon.
Summary[]
At ACME Construction Company, Bugs Bunny manages an inept crew of builders. By working together as a team, Lola Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety and others use their tools and wild vehicles to pull off some of the looniest construction jobs ever.
Development[]
WarnerMedia Kids & Family announced 17 February 2021 that it was developing the educational show for younger audiences.[6]
On 14 June 2022, a trailer and the opening for the series were posted on YouTube. Sneak peaks of the series aired during a Mecha Builders marathon on 4 July 2022.

- This is the second series that Eric Bauza voiced Bugs, Daffy and Tweety.
- Some of the male Looney Tunes characters in this series gain female counterparts, like Pauleen Penguin (who is similar to Playboy Penguin).
- This is the fifth time that Lola has a different voice actress compared to her original/primary one Kath Soucie, the previous being Baby Looney Tunes, The Looney Tunes Show, Looney Tunes: Rabbits Run, and Space Jam A New Legacy following a sixth time being Tiny Toons Looniversity.
- Similar to the series Looney Tunes Cartoons, Bugs has four whiskers instead of six.
- This is the first series in which it’s featuring that Bugs, Daffy and Tweety are fully clothed.
- Many of the antagonists (mostly antromorphic characters) are main protagonists in the series.
- This is the first in the franchise not to feature human characters, including Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and Granny.
