Brandon “Brand” Walsh is the deuteragonist of the 1985 film, The Goonies. He is the older brother of Mikey Walsh, who even though they don't have a great sibling relationship are still very close.
He is portrayed by Josh Brolin.

Brand is a tall and muscular sixteen-year old teenager. He has short sandy brown hair and is often seen wearing a red bandana around his head. He also wears a sleeveless gray shirt with a dark blue hoodie over it, including a pair of gray sweatpants with blue shorts, and a pair of Nike Vandal Supremes.
Role in the film[]
When the treasure map is found by Mickey and his friends, Brand is reluctant to the idea and tries to keep them locked up in the house while their parents are away, but they tied him up and ran away.
After freeing himself he chases them, but after getting involved in this adventure he is happy with what his brother has done, they save their city and Brand started a relationship with Andy.
