Brainy Barker is a secondary deuteragonist in the Krypto the Superdog series. She is a purple Afghan and is the head of the Dog Star Patrol (DSP). Brainy Barker has the ability to read minds and create psychic images with her mind. She is a puppy in the episode "Puppy Problems". She is voiced by Ellen Kennedy.
Her personality is known to be kind and warm to her friends, but fierce, stern and angry with enemies and misbehavior.
She's usually seen sitting on a pink floating cushion or at the Control Hatch.
History[]
Barker was an alien superhero dog as well as possessing a possible connection to Superman's arch-enemy Brainiac. Eventually, Barker became Brainy Barker, a leader and member of the Dog Star Patrol. She meets Kevin outside at his house in the episode "Barrump Barrump".

Alien Physiology: Brainy Barker's an alien canine who possesses mental abilities.
- Telepathy: Brainy Barker has the power to read the thoughts of others and their memories.
- 3-D Image Thought: Brainy Barker can create 3-D images with her mind. When reading someone's mind, she can project their thoughts and memories and allow everyone see what she heard. She can also project her own thoughts, even when she's sleeping.
- Telekinesis: Brainy Barker can lift and manipulate objects with her mind.
- Force-Fields: Brainy Barker can project force-fields for offense and defense.
- Levitation: Brainy Barker usually levitates herself when sitting on a pink cushion to get around, and is also able to counter the gravitational pull of other planets.

- In Space Puss in Boots, she just finds out that cats don't really have nine lives, which that puzzled her.
- In Invasion From the Planet Peanut, it revealed that Brainy prefers almonds over peanuts.
- There is a female dog character on The Tom and Jerry Show (2014), Sabrina who has some of Brainy's appearances. Both are light purple female dogs with tufts in a much darker shade of purple. Expect, Sabrina is an Earth French poodle, while Brainy is an extraterrestrial Afghan or Saluki. Also Brainy has a white streak on her top tuft, while Sabrina doesn't.
