Vril Dox, better known as Brainiac, is an alien android appearing as one of the main antagonists in DC Comics. He is regularly portrayed as one of Superman's arch-nemesis (a trait he shares with Lex Luthor and General Zod) as well as Supergirl due to his actions on the planet Krypton and has gone on to become one of DC Comics' most dangerous and formidable foes since his debut. He is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Darkseid and Lex Luthor) of the Superman franchise and is a major antagonist in the Justice Leagueseries.
