Black Adam is a character that appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. The character was created by Otto Binder and C. C. Beck, and first appeared in the debut issue of Fawcett Comics' The Marvel Family comic book in December 1945.

He appears in Shazam! films as part of the DC Extended Universe, as well as the main protagonist of the spin-off film of the same name.
