BBC Films is the feature film-making arm of the BBC. It was founded on 18 June 1990. It has produced or co-produced some of the most successful British films.
The films they produced under the Warner Bros. label are:
- Sarafina! (1992) (co-production with Hollywood Pictures and Miramax Films; Although it's released under the Warner Bros. United Kingdom/Brazil/International banner; Buena Vista Pictures owns North American rights)
- Bright Star (2009) (co-production with Film Finance Corporation Australia, Pathé, UK Film Council, and Screen Australia)
- Edge of Darkness (2010) (co-production with Icon Productions)
