Alexander B. Ignatiev (April 16, 1913 - October 12, 1995) is a Russian-born American animator who worked at Hanna-Barbera and Filmation.
Alex Ignatiev grew up in San Francisco and in the 1930s received a scholarship to study with Millard Sheets, Phil Paradise and Lawrence Murphy. His watercolor paintings are American Scene works done with transparent and opaque paints. In addition, he produced murals and animated film art for a number of Hollywood studios including Walt Disney, Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera.
Ignatiev died in October 1995, at the age of 82.
