Alan Cumming, FRSE, is a Scottish actor, writer, and singer, who is best known for his various roles in films, television shows, and stage musicals. A number of his Broadway appearances include Hamlet, Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Bent, The Bacchae, The Threepenny Opera, Cabaret, and Design for Living. He is also well-known for playing Eli Gold and Dr. Dylan Reinhart in the CBS crime drama series: The Good Wife (2009–2016) and Instinct (respectively), Fegan Floop in the Spy Kids franchise, Loki in Son of the Mask, and voicing Persnikitty/Sir Roland in Garfield: The Movie and Gutsy Smurf in the Sony Pictures live-action Smurfs films.
For Disney, he voiced John Castaway in the Gargoyles episode "The Journey", and portrayed Sandy Frink in the 1997 Touchstone Pictures film Romy and Michele's High School Reunion and Rooster Hannigan in Annie. He also voiced the Bog King in the 2015 Lucasfilm animated film Strange Magic, and played the Magician in the CinéMagique attraction.
