Events[]

  • Warner Bros. Feature Animation was shut down after their final film Looney Tunes: Back in Action bombed at the box-office. It remained defunct for 10 years until it was rebooted as "Warner Animation Group" and went back in the spotlight after the success of The Lego Movie.
  • Time Warner agrees to sell Warner Music Group to a group made up of private investors like Edgar Bronfman Jr. and Thomas H. Lee Partners, in a move that would allow Time Warner to trim its debt. This would also result in the separation of Warner Bros. Records from the Warner Bros. film studio.
