True, but imagine if TimeWarner DID buy all of MGM in 1996 (the same year they acquired Turner). We could've had RoboCop: Alpha Commando, James Bond Jr., The Lionhearts, All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series and The Pink Panther (1993) on Kids' WB, Cartoon Network and Boomerang if a miracle as such happen !
Why only the pre-1986 MGM cartoon characters ? Why not also include the post-1986 ones since Warner Bros. should buy MGM !
Since Warner Bros. should buy MGM, The movie should also have cameos of post-1986 MGM animated characters like The Pink Panther !
I can definitely see Tom and Jerry appearing in Looney Tunes: Back in Action. As well as Droopy, McWolf, Red, Butch the Irish Dog, Screwy Squirrel, Meathead Dog, George and Junior, Barney Bear, Benny Burro, the Alley Cat (from Tex Avery shorts including The Cat That Hated People), B.O. Skunk, the King-Size Canary, The Pink Panther, The Little Man, The Ant and the Aardvark, The Inspector, Buster Bunny, Babs Bunny, Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, Gogo Dodo, Yakko, Wakko and Dot, Pinky and the Brain, Slappy Squirrel and various Cartoon Network and Adult Swim characters also making cameos in the said movie.
Looks great.
Shame that the Powerpuff Girls didn't have any lines in that bumper, but it's still a great bumper.

Animation, DC Comics, Rankin/Bass ( post-1973 ), Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Atomic Betty, Oscar's Orchestra, Noah's Island, Trollz, and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Animation characters, but most of the time interacting with the characters of Cartoon Network's in-house productions. )

The Pink Panther and HIT Entertainment characters also should make cameos in the HHPAY movie since Warner Bros. should buy MGM and HIT Entertainment from Amazon and Mattel.
The Bunny Tonic/Quoi De Neuf Bunny ?/What's New Bunny ? segments had a shocking lack of Cartoon Network characters.
Where's Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, Dexter, Johnny Bravo, Courage, Ed, Double D, Eddy, Yakko, Wakko, Dot, Droopy and Pink Panther ?
